AUDITIONS FOR UPCOMING VERDE VALLEY THEATRE’S 2009-2010 SEASON
VERDE VALLEY THEATRE IS CALLING ALL ACTORS TO AUDITION for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. Auditions for the first play of the upcoming season will be held on August 4, 5, and 6 at 7:00 pm at the Clark Memorial Clubhouse located at 9th and Main Streets in historic downtown Clarkdale. The community theatre season opens on October 9 with an Ellen Simons’ play – Moonlight and Valentino - a warm-hearted comedy about some hard facts of life.
Auditions for the second play of the season, a musical, Little Shop of Horrors will be held in early September. And auditions for the third play of the season, Vanities, will be held in November. Veteran directors Guy Darland and Craig Hartley will be joined by Abby Fritts as the directors this season.
In addition to actors, Verde Valley Theatre, is looking for people interested in working behind the scene – stage manager, stage crew, lighting and sound technicians, set design and construction, producer, and house manager.
