The VVT Board of Directors created a membership committee sometime ago to review and recommend a Membership program as another level of participation and support for the Verde Valley Theatre. They have mailed their initial letter with information regarding the Membership program.

Dear Friends of Verde Valley Theatre,
Verde Valley Theatre has made much progress in the short period of time since its inception. A varied season has attracted larger audiences and the season subscribers list has grown considerably. We look forward to the day when we can move into our own building, the Grand Theatre.
In order to be able to continue providing quality community theater for audiences of the Verde Valley, we need to establish a membership base made up of people committed to being part of this growing organization.
As someone who has been involved with Verde Valley Theatre, or its predecessor, Old Town Players, we invite you to be a charter member of Verde Valley Theatre. The Board of Directors has established the following terms of membership: . Pay annual dues of $15 (first year's dues waived for Charter Members) . Work on at least one show each season (10 hours minimum) . Vote at membership meetings . Receive invitations for 2 seats at all dress rehearsals, plus a $2/ticket discount (limit 2 per show) on regular price of show tickets . Receive invitations to all membership events, including annual awards dinner . Receive membership pins at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of continuous membership, special pin for charter members.
We hope that you will agree that it is time to "stand up and be counted". Verde Valley Theatre wants to count on you! If you sign-up for membership by December 31, 2008 for the 2008-2009 season, you will be a charter member, and the first year's dues, 2008-2009, will be waived. A membership application form is provided with this letter.

A Membership meeting will be held in the fall of 2008 and officers of the organization will be elected at that time.
